John McCauley Eliminated in 8th Place ($5,963)

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 5,000 ante
John McCauley
John McCauley

John McCauley got it in for 500,000 with the {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} and Omar El-Nasrallah looked him up with the {a-Spades}{9-Diamonds}.

The board bricked out and McCauley busted eighth.

Mackiewicz Leads!

Level 28 : 30,000/60,000, 5,000 ante
Kristan Mackiewicz
Kristan Mackiewicz

Kristan Mackiewicz has snatched the lead from Scott Hosbach.

Things escalated quickly after she bet 150,000 on the button into a {10-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{a-Spades} board to the turn. Both Sahar Khajavi and Hosbach called. Then they both checked the {8-Diamonds} river.

Mackiewitz bet 250,000, Khajavi called and Hosbach jammed in. Mackiewicz called off her last 900,000 and Khajavi folded.

Mackiewicz turned over the {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} Broadway straight and Hosbach mucked.

Mackiewicz Finds A Way

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Scott Hosbach raised under the gun and Kristan Mackiewicz shoved the {7-Spades}{8-Spades} from the cutoff.

John McCauley woke up with the {q-Hearts}{q-Spades} in the big blind and jammed, forcing Hosbach out. Mackiewicz was at risk, but the {2-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{7-Hearts} flop saved her day. The {7-Clubs} turn filled her up, and the {4-Spades} river ensured the double up.

Mackiewicz and McCauley have now swapped spots on the leaderboard eight handed.

Joseph Elia Eliminated in 9th Place ($4,589)

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante
Joseph Elia
Joseph Elia

Scott Hosbach made it 115,000 and Joseph Elia defended his big blind.

Elia then shipped the {3-Spades}{2-Clubs}{5-Hearts} flop for his last 400,000. Hosbach called with the {a-Spades}{q-Hearts} and Elia looked good to double with the {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}.

However, the {a-Hearts} turn hit Hosbach and the {7-Spades} river could not save Elia.

Elia's exit brings them down to eight and Hosbach leads.

Jason Clark got it in with two jacks, but could not get by William Liang's {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}.

The money went in preflop and Liang turned an ace.

Clark's elimination brings the final table down to nine.

Foster 11th, Final Table Set

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 4,000 ante
Adam Foster
Adam Foster

A hand after being pushed off a one-million chip pot by William Liang, Sahar Khajavi called Adam Foster's shove and it looked like it was all falling apart for her.

She had the dominating {a-Spades}{k-Clubs} versus Foster's {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}, but he made two pair on the {a-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{10-Hearts} flop. The {q-Diamonds} turn brought Khajavi a gutshot to Broadway and the {j-Hearts} river completed it, leaving Foster the unlucky one.

Foster took final table bubble boy honors and they are now ten-handed at a single table.
