The Biggest Pot Of The Tournament

Level 21 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Scott Hosbach
Scott Hosbach

The biggest pot of the tournament so far started off with Steven Przybyl opening under the gun.

It came to Scott Hosbach on the button and he made it 75,000. The blinds folded and Przybyl three-bet to 150,000.

Hosbach was mulling it over when Przybyl promised to show. Hosback moved all in.

"Show me," he said, after which Przybyl called with the {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}. Hosbach had the {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}.

An {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{10-Hearts} run out left Przybyl drawing dead on the turn. With 37 remaining, Hosbach has moved back into the lead and actually has more chips already than what the average stack will be at the final table.

Damick Snatches The Lead

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Chris Damick
Chris Damick

Chris Damick has snatched the lead from Scott Hosbach.

They got tangled in a pot with Damick flopping a set of sevens and turning sevens full of aces. The river card even brought three cards to a flush, but after getting a little value pre and post flop, Damick could get no more from Hosbach on the end.

The two leaders were sat beside one another for a little while, but the table has since broken and that's no longer the case, ending the big-stack confrontation for now.

Wagner Bubbles, Cat Starves

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Dan Wagner
Dan Wagner

Dan Wagner's cat won't eat as he just missed out on the money, becoming the 2017 Seneca Niagara Summer Slam Main Event bubble boy moments ago.

Wagner shoved big slick under the gun and when it came to Joseph Elia in the big blind they squeezed together. Turned out Elia had jacks and jacks held to send Wagner home one spot short of a payday.

The 45 players left are now guaranteed to earn at least $1,193.

Those concerned about the cat should fret not.

"It's OK, the cat's fat anyway," Wagner said.

Pace Stopped, Binda Jr. Climbs

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante
Bruce Pace
Bruce Pace

Bruce Pace jammed an open ender on the flop and Harry Binda Jr. snap-called with a set of fives.

Binda Jr. made quads and now has over 500,000 with another Bruce Pace rollercoaster falling off the tracks before the money.

The Money Bubble Aproaches

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

With 50 players left in the tournament, the 45-player money bubble is fast approaching.

Here's a look at where the bigger stacks stand:

Handling The Swings

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Chris Damick rushed out to an early lead in the first starting flight and had chips all day until the last level of the night.

He couldn't win a hand and ended up bagging 80,000 for Day 2.

Now Damick has found the upswing again, and after turning two pair, getting a 60,000-chip value bet paid by two spots on the river, and dragging what was ultimately a 300,000-chip pot, he's back among the leaders again.

Reid Doubles The Hard Way

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante
Colin Reid
Colin Reid

Colin Reid has moved up to a spot within sight of chip leader Scott Hosbach.

He's more than doubled the less-than 200,000 he brought into play today, but hasn't had to risk it all yet.

Instead of the traditional double up, he's done it the hard way, chipping up slowly but steadily through the first three levels of play.

He'll head into the first break of the day with 60 players left and Hosbach still setting a blistering pace.
