Arthur Gates Triples Up

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Arthur Gates limped in from under the gun and Budwey Salhab raised to 4,500 from middle position.

The player in the small blind moved all in for about 9,000 and Gates moved in over the top for 15,000. Salhab called both all ins.

Gates: {j-Hearts}{8-Hearts}
Salhab: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Small Blind: {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

Salhab said, "Jack eight! He limp-called with jack eight!"

The flop came down {j-Clubs}{10-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and Salhab said, "Of course."

The turn was the {2-Spades} and the river was the {8-Diamonds}, giving Gates two pair to take down the pot.

Ty Sessom Triples Up

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 200 ante

Action folded around to the player on the button who raised to 4,200.

The player in the small blind moved all in for about 19,000 and Ty Sessom called for 12,200 in the big blind. The button thought for a moment and eventually called.

Sessom: {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}
Button: {K-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Small Blind: {6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}

The small blind said, "Well, I guess I'm going for a straight."

The board ran out {q-Spades}{7-Hearts}{2-Spades}{4-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and Sessom put up a fist pump as he tripled up and the small blind was sent to the rail.

Cameron Bartolotta Doubles Up

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Action folded around to the player on the button who raised to 3,000.

Cameron Bartolotta was in the small blind and moved all in for about 13.300. The button went into the tank for about a minute before deciding to call.

Bartolotta shook his head and stood up, almost as if he was expecting to lose after having a rough couple of days at the tables.

Bartolotta tabled {a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and his opponent showed {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}.

The flop came {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}, giving Bartolotta top pair, but his opponent picked up a flush and a straight draw.

The turn was the {a-Clubs} and the river was the {4-Spades}, giving Bartolotta the double up he was looking for. Eventually, he sat back down.
