Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 3,000 ante
Dave Grana
Dave Grana

On a board reading {6-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{2-Hearts}{9-Spades}, [Removed:339] moved all in, putting Dave Grana to a decision for his tournament life. After a moment, Grana decided to call.

Much to his disappointment, Grana realized he was drawing dead with {k-Clubs}{9-Clubs} when [Removed:340] tabled {5-Spades}{4-Spades} for the nut straight.

The river was the {9-Hearts} and Grana hit the rail.

Kristan Mackiewicz Triples Up

Level 22 : 12,000/24,000, 3,000 ante

Kristan Mackiewicz was all in before the flop for 217,000 and got calls from [Removed:339] on the button and Lue Huang in the big blind.

The flop came {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and both players on the side checked. The turn was the {a-Clubs}. Huang reached into this stack and bet 156,000. [Removed:340] folded.

Huang tabled {3-Spades}{3-Clubs} for two pair, but Mackiewicz showed {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} for the nut straight, good for a triple up.
