Through four Day 1 qualifying flights of Event #2: $200 No-Limit Hold'em $50,000 Guarantee, a total of 670 entries were received. The guarantee was smashed with just 91 making it through for Day 2 chasing their share of a more than $100,000 prize pool.

The overall chip lead belongs to Andy Spears who set the mark way back on Day 1a. Spears will return to a stack of 326,200 with his closest competitor, Day 1d top stack Matt Ahrens, bringing forth 287,200.

Mike Curtiss (271,300), Craig Gerringer (253,600), Jason Zawacki (240,500), Chris Gras (235,700), Tom Smolinski (233,800), Rob Bourkney (220,900), Ken Wasik (208,000) Tyler Dietz (207,000), Don Moeller (202,300) represent all the players who were able to bag more than 200k in their respective flights.

Since Day 1c was cut short due to the field being narrowed down to 12%, Day 2 will start with about 10 minutes left on Level 14 before going straight into Level 15. From there, play will continue until the last player is standing.

Stay tuned to the blog as PokerNews will be on the floor providing live coverage throughout the series.
