Another flight of Event #2: $200 No-Limit Hold'em $50,000 Guarantee has completed and the guarantee has officially been smashed. A total of 195 entries hit the felt on Saturday morning for Day 1c with just 24 left after 14 levels of play.

The prize pool currently sits at $77,521 after the third flight. There have been 480 entries thus far with Day 1d yet to play out. Of the 24 survivors on Day 1c, Mike Curtiss bagged the top stack with 271,300 by day's end.

Of the players who have yet to find any traction on the starting flights the likes of Leo Kaplin, Jordan Lagano, Colin Phoenix, Mike Crystal, Chris Patric, Scott Murawa, Carol Leonardi, and James Miller will require at least one more bullet to keep their run alive.

Those players who have yet to book a seat on Day 2 or anyone that wants to test their luck in building a bigger and better stack have just one for shot. Day 1d is the fourth and final flight of the event, kicking off immediately after Day 1c played out, with cards in the air at 6 p.m.

Stay tuned to the blog as PokerNews will be on the floor providing live coverage throughout the series.

LaTour Runs into Blanco's Aces

Level 13 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Mike LaTour moved all-in preflop and was put at risk by Louis Blanco. LaTour tabled the {a-Hearts}{k-Spades} but was well behind the {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds} of Blanco.

LaTour got some hope with a {9-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop and picked up more outs with the {10-Clubs} on the turn. Unfortunately, the {8-Clubs} on the river was a blank and LaTour hit the rail.

Pedro Gets Paid with a Boat

Level 13 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

A smallish pot of about 17,000 sat in the middle of the table with a {j-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{10-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} board beside it. There were three players in the hand and Luis Pedro led with an oversized bet of 25,000 out of the small blind.

Blake Napierala was seated in the big and tanked for a minute or so before making the call. The third player in the hand also called and Pedro tabled the {k-Spades}{j-Spades} for a full house.

Both opponent's quickly mucked.
