Filipovic Fills Up on the River

Level 8 : 300/600, 75 ante

With about 7,000 in the middle and a board reading {7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}, Steven Filipovic bet 3,500 on the button and his opponent in the big blind check-called. The {k-Spades} completed the board Filipovic fired another barrel worth 10,000. His opponent check-called once more and Filipovic tabled the {7-Diamonds}{7-Spades} for a full house.

His opponent mucked the {10-Hearts}{3-Hearts}, turning a flush, and Filipovic collected the pot.

River Required to Save Khajavi

Level 8 : 300/600, 75 ante

Savar Khajavi opened to 1,500 from early position and four-bet jammed all in for 17,500 when the player in the cutoff three-bet to 5,000. Khajavi's opponent made the call to put her at risk.

Savar Khajavi: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}
Opponent: {j-Diamonds}{j-Spades}

Khajavi was in great shape to double but a jack on a {10-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{k-Diamonds} flop quickly changed the fortunes. It did, however, give Khajavi a straight draw. The {7-Clubs} was no help on the turn but the {q-Hearts} on the river was just what she needed to score the double up.

Pay the Man His Money

Level 7 : 250/500, 50 ante

Just before the break, Payman Azizoghli struck gold. A four-way preflop all in saw a sick cooler form with pocket aces, queens, jacks, and tens all tabled.

Azizoghli had the queens and spiked a queen on the river to scoop the entire pot busting all three opponents in the process.
