SiGMA Poker Tour Brazil Kicks Off with Day 1a of $770 Main Event
The SiGMA Poker Tour has made its way to the beautiful city of Sao Paulo, Brazil for its first event of the 2025 season. The highly anticipated 5-night stop is expected to bring high-stakes action, exclusive VIP events, and unforgettable entertainment to one of the most exciting poker destinations in the world. Players will gather at the coveted Monte Carlo Poker Club for the $770 Main Event that boasts a guaranteed prizepool of $250,000.
There will be a total of five starting flights over the next three days, two of which will be of the turbo variety late in the evening. In each flight, players will be given a starting stack of 30,000 chips with the blinds starting at 100/200. For the opening flight, the blinds will be 30 minutes in length, with a 15-minute break after every four levels. The cards are scheduled to go in the air at 5 p.m. local time for Day 1a and are expected to bag up chips with just 15% of the field remaining.
Should a player be unfortunate enough to be eliminated, they will be given the option of two reentries per flight. Late registration will be open until the end of level 10, and players will be allowed to surrender their stack at the end of late registration.
The SiGMA Poker Tour will also play host to its ambassadors, who will be engaged at the poker tables throughout the event. The likes of famous footballer John Arne Riise, Lukas Robinson, Drea Karlsen, and YouTuber Jon Vlogs will add an exciting dynamic at the tables.
The PokerNews live reporting team will be on-site to bring you all of the updates throughout the event en route to crowning a SiGMA Poker Tour Brazil champion.
