Morte Gives Most of It Back
Level 4
: Blinds 200/500, 500 ante
There was a raise to 1,200 in middle position and German Morte defended from the big blind. The flop came J♣6♥3♦ and Morte checked to his opponent who bet 1,400. Morte check-raised to 3,500 and his opponent called.
The turn was the 2♥ and Morte flicked in a bet of 5,000 which his opponent called. The J♠ paired the board on the river and Morte overbet shoved all in. His opponent didn't waste much time before calling off his stack of 20,300. Morte turned over A♣4♣ for just ace-high while his opponent held Q♣J♥ for trip jacks.
