Gialanze Doubles via Zammit as Chips Pile in on Flop

There was 6,000 in the middle in a three-way hand between Neil Zammit in the small blind, Erwin Vaesen in early position, and Karl Gialanze on the button.

Zammit checked and Vaesen fired out a bet of 5,000, before Gialanze raised to 16,000. Zammit then check-raised to 35,000, forcing Vaesen to fold.

Gialanze took a bit of time to think but called it off for his 32,000 total stack.

Action folded back to Jakoniuk, who made the quick call.

Casillas Jams into Nuts to Double Degennaro

Each of Daniele Degennaro under the gun, Jose Casillas in the cutoff and Luca Fagioli in the small blind had committed 4,300 preflop to see a board of 9♠8♠3♠.

Action was checked to Degennaro, who fired out a bet of 2,500. Casillas responded with a raise to 13,900, forcing a fold from Fagioli, before Degennaro called.

The 7♣ hit on the turn, and Degennaro checked. Casillas quickly announced "All-in" with the covering stack, and Degennaro's chips almost beat him to the middle.

Casillas said "I'm drawing dead" as he tabled Q♥Q♣, and he was right as Degennaro showed A♠10♠ for the flopped nut flush. The 6♦ river completed the board.

Blagojevic check-called a bet of 3,600 to see a 4♠ river, which was quickly checked through.

Blagojevic said "Sevens" and mucked when Eggen showed A♦J♥ for second pair jacks.

Big Early Pot for Casillas

Around 4,000 was in the middle on a board of Q♥7♠6♣, in a hand between Jose Casillas under the gun and Ondrej Groman on the button.

Casillas check-called a bet of 2,000 from Groman to see the 5♦ turn, where the same pattern followed, this in time in respect of a bet of 4,000.

The 9♥ river completed the board, and Casillas checked once more. Groman relatively quickly fired out a bet of 10,000, sending Casillas deep into thought.

After around two minutes, Groman took a peek at his cards, and that seemed to make up Casillas mind, who announced a check-raise to 30,000.

Groman sighed, and took about two minutes, before flicking in a calling chip. He was shown the bad news when Casillas tabled Q♠9♣ for the rivered two pair, beating Groman's A♠Q♦ for top pair queens.
