Kossew Claims Another Victim; Leblanc Chips Back Up

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

On the river of a heads-up pot the board showed KJ104Q and Howard Lipman checked. Remy Leblanc pushed all-in and Lipman briefly glanced at his phone (no solvers involved, guaranteed) before he let go.

At the same time one table over, Werner Smit was spotted on his way to the rail. He had run the AK into Jedd Kossew, who looked him up with the AA and recorded another knockout.

Martin Busts Grove on the River

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Sheldon Grove jammed all-in the very first hand after his re-entry and was up against two opponents, a short stack and Clayton Martin.

Short stack: JJ All in
Sheldon Grove: 87 All in
Clayton Martin: AA

On the 852 flop, Grove said "I gonna need an eight or seven here" and received that wish with the 7 turn. A split pot was still possible since none of the trio had a spade in their hand. However, it was the A that fell on the river for Martin to score a double knockout.

Hoal Busts Solomon and Singh in Quick Succession

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante
Jono Hoal
Jono Hoal

Simon Solomon got his short stack in with the AK and had a classic flip against the QQ of Jonathan Hoal.

The board ran out 974J8 and that spelled the end for Solomon.

Soon after, Singh was flipping against Hoal in the following preflop contest.

Sugen Singh: AK All in
Jonathan Hoal: 1010

The J9523 board brought no help either and Hoal won the second flip in a row.

Adrian Andritz check-called the 10876 turn for 6,900 against Sheldon Grove and then led the 3 river for 20,000. Grove called but mucked the 9 when Andritz revealed the KQ for the king-high flush.

Grove dropped to around 11,000 and lost those shortly after, though he will likely be back soon.

Urgently Needed Double for Singh

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Two shorter stacks clashed in a preflop contest and Sugen Singh was the player at risk for 11,500 with the K9. He was up against Simon Solomon with the AQ and got there on the K83105 board to help himself back above half the starting stack.

Kavnat Battles With Dean

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

In a pot of 15,700 to the 101049 turn, Jaron Kavnat bet 6,000. Christopher Dean then raised to 17,500 only for the larger stacked Kavnat to move all-in with the covering stack. Dean went deep into the tank and used two time banks before folding.

Kavnat scooped the pot without showdown and reached six figures in the third level of the day.
