On the river of a heads-up pot the board showed K♥J♠10♠4♦Q♦ and Howard Lipman checked. Remy Leblanc pushed all-in and Lipman briefly glanced at his phone (no solvers involved, guaranteed) before he let go.
At the same time one table over, Werner Smit was spotted on his way to the rail. He had run the A♠K♣ into Jedd Kossew, who looked him up with the A♦A♥ and recorded another knockout.
Sheldon Grove jammed all-in the very first hand after his re-entry and was up against two opponents, a short stack and Clayton Martin.

On the 8♠5♠2♠ flop, Grove said "I gonna need an eight or seven here" and received that wish with the 7♠ turn. A split pot was still possible since none of the trio had a spade in their hand. However, it was the A♦ that fell on the river for Martin to score a double knockout.
Simon Solomon got his short stack in with the A♠K♣ and had a classic flip against the Q♥Q♣ of Jonathan Hoal.
The board ran out 9♠7♥4♠J♥8♥ and that spelled the end for Solomon.
Soon after, Singh was flipping against Hoal in the following preflop contest.

The J♥9♦5♥2♦3♠ board brought no help either and Hoal won the second flip in a row.
Adrian Andritz check-called the 10♦8♥7♦6♦ turn for 6,900 against Sheldon Grove and then led the 3♠ river for 20,000. Grove called but mucked the 9♦ when Andritz revealed the K♦Q♦ for the king-high flush.
Grove dropped to around 11,000 and lost those shortly after, though he will likely be back soon.
Two shorter stacks clashed in a preflop contest and Sugen Singh was the player at risk for 11,500 with the K♠9♠. He was up against Simon Solomon with the A♣Q♣ and got there on the K♥8♠3♦10♥5♦ board to help himself back above half the starting stack.

A very healthy field of 82 entries has emerged in the first three levels of the day and 78 players still have chips at their disposal, heading into the first scheduled 15-minute break of the day.
In a pot of 15,700 to the 10♣10♦4♥9♣ turn, Jaron Kavnat bet 6,000. Christopher Dean then raised to 17,500 only for the larger stacked Kavnat to move all-in with the covering stack. Dean went deep into the tank and used two time banks before folding.
Kavnat scooped the pot without showdown and reached six figures in the third level of the day.
