Mazor Jams Up Stack Right Away

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Monica Rosie checked the 622J turn and then called a bet of 3,200 by Eli Mazor for 3,200. Rosie checked again the 8 on the river and Mazor pushed all-in for 17,000 effective.

Rosie sigh-folded and Mazor asked "can I show her but nobody else?" He moved the cards towards the muck already but before collecting the pot, flashed the 53 for a bluff while Rosie claimed to have folded pocket tens.

Down to a shorter stack, Rosie busted soon after.

Horgan Back With a Boost; Nortje Gets a Shove Through

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Aidan Jacobs bet the Q827 turn for 7,000 and Muaaz Gani reluctantly folded. Gani was shortly after eliminated by Colin Horgan, who had sat down for the first hand in the big blind to send the Gani to the rail.

Ashley Hira and Mariette Language joined the rail while Marko Nortje avoided the same fate for now. In a multi-way pot to the 982 flop, Nortje jammed for 18,500 in the small blind. Leonard Dormehl, Didier Mery and Rudolf Fourie all folded and Nortje flashed the 63 after Fourie had declared he can't call with six-high.

Courtney Sends Berlin to the Rail

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Stephen Courtney
Stephen Courtney

Devid Berlin limped from under the gun and called a raise to 3,000 by Stephen Courtney in the next seat. On the A103 flop, Berlin check-called a bet and they checked the 9 turn to the J river. Berlin now bet 10,000 with around 15,000 behind and he called all-in to the shove by Courtney.

The 33 of Courtney for bottom set were good to score the knockout, as Berlin's AJ had flopped top pair and made two pair on the river.

Jung Eliminated by Lingenfelder

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Alan Jung
Alan Jung

Benjamin "Guppie" Lingenfelder got involved in a three-bet pot to the KK4 flop which he bet for 8,000. His opponent raised to 25,000 and Lingenfelder folded to get shown KQ.

In the last hand of the level, Lingenfelder looked up the preflop all-in by Alan Jung for fumes.

Alan Jung: 98 All in
Benjamin Lingenfelder: A5

"I think I gonna win this one," Lingenfelder grinned and that prediction came true on the AJ264 board.

He then told the dealer "I never win a hand before the break ... it's destiny" before heading out of the tournament area.

Colin Horgan was all-in for 18,000 preflop and Dave Nundloll isolated after the Q76 flop.

Colin Horgan: KQ All in
Dave Nundloll: QJ

The 4 turn and A river ensured the triple up for Horgan, who was happy to have avoided the re-entry cost and even got more chips out of it. Cliton Taliwanth was not as fortunate as he bowed out on the next table.

Brookes led the K93 flop for 10,000 and the only caller was Richards. Both checked down the J turn and 6 river for Brookes to show A4 for the busted nut flush draw. Richards had that beat with KQ and Ioannoy tossed his cards into the muck.
