A massive pot was brewing over on table 18 with button raiser SM taking on David Ng out of the big blind. Nearly 40,000 were in the middle to the 5♦4♠3♠5♠6♣ river on which Ng pushed all-in for 22,600.

SM asked for a count and eventually called to get shown A♣3♦, revealed by Ng with his head shaking. SM flipped over his 8♥7♣ and that left Ng puzzled. The player from Mauritius then explained that he had check-raised the flop and turn for what appeared to be small increases.

Sheldon Grove had re-entered to the same table he had busted from and was now playing on the outer tables after the line-up for the live stream had switched during the break. He took on Bernard Gossard and called the shove of the French player, with both players hesitating to show their cards.

"I called you," Grove insisted and wanted Gossard to flip em over first.

Adam Gamsy raised to 1,600 and found one caller in Beat Schlegel. Rudolf Fourie then announced all-in for around 20,000 out of the blinds and Gamsy called, Schlegel folded.

"Show me ace-king," Fourie said and Gamsy turned over the 9♠9♥. Fourie flipped with the Q♦10♦ but didn't find any help on the 5♥5♦3♣4♣8♣ runout. When he stood up from the chair, a T-1,000 chip fell from under his iPad and he tossed it to Gamsy.

Gothey Gets the Chips of Van Huyssteen

Three ways to the 8♣7♥3♠ flop, Lauren Piha checked and Muzamil Gothey bet 5,500 into around 8,000 out of the hijack. Braam van Huyssteen then raised to 15,500 on the button and Piha folded, Gothey called. Both checked the 6♠ turn and Gothey also checked the K♠ on the river.

Van Huyssteen now jammed and the Tanzanian asked for a count. The shove was for 27,100 and Gothey called within fifteen seconds. He was shown the 6♣5♣ for a busted straight draw on the flop that had turned a pair of sixes. Gothey had that beat with the Q♦Q♣ and earned a healthy boost to his stack.

Before he started the hand, Remy Murcia promised to put his watch into play and then three-bet to 10,000 from the small blind following a raise by Lissa Szymonowicz and a call by Mariette Language. "Ten thousand and the watch," he said and took it off the wrist, placed it next to the raising chips.

They headed to the 9♦8♥7♠ flop on which Murcia checked. Language moved all-in and Murcia snap-called.

"You have a lot of equity ... oh no, my watch," Murcia said. The Q♣ turn and 9♥ river were blanks and Language was eliminated.

One hand later, Murcia battled with Aidan Jacobs, who led the K♥10♠2♣6♣ turn for 25,000. "Oh wow ... okay," Murcia said and then called. The 9♣ fell on the river and Jacobs instantly moved all-in.

Murcia asked for a count and the shove was for more than 80,000.

"Not the Spiderman, I love him too much," Jacobs grimaced. Murcia used three time banks and folded, Jacobs showed the 10♣.

"Come on, show me the other one, show the bluff," Murcia replied and mentioned during the chat after he had folded king-queen for top pair.

The short stacks of Tim Akinnusi and Wesley Blom went into the middle preflop with the former at risk for 35,500 with the K♥K♠. Blom was beaten by a notch and revealed the Q♦Q♣.

There was no drama on the A♣8♥3♥3♠2♦ board and Akinnusi doubled. Blom got very few chips back the next hand when he showed a turned full house with K♥2♠ before then busting with a vocal "player out".
