On the river of a A♣K♦5♠K♣Q♥ board, Colin Horgan bet 200,000 and Divan Le Roux had a decision to make.
"Are you bluffing me?" Le Roux asked and Horgan replied "try me" with a smirk on the face.
Le Roux eventually called and Horgan won the pot with the K♥9♠.
Diane Walker won two smaller pots in showdown and then called a raise to 110,000 by Edgar Antezana Q♥10♠ with the A♦Q♣ on the button. Gareth Fourie in the big blind tanked with the K♣J♠ and reluctantly folded.
The A♠K♠5♥ flop was checked by Antezana and Walker bet 225,000 to win yet another pot.
Edgar Antezana made it 110,000 to go with the A♣5♥ and Rohan Conradie called on the button holding the J♣8♣. On the A♥Q♥8♦ flop, both players checked and Antezana bet the 7♦ turn for 150,000.
Conradie gave it some thought but opted to fold.
First to act, Rohan Conradie raised to 105,000 with the A♦J♣ and Giovanni Zanette called with the 7♠7♣ on the button, Edgar Antezana made it three ways after adding the chips with 9♦8♣ in the big blind. The A♥4♥3♦ flop was checked to Conradie and he bet 110,000. Antezana folded and so did Zanette.
Colin Horgan was moved to the outer table and immediately went to work against fellow chip leader Nic Ioannoy. They created a hefty pot to the A♦8♣3♠10♥4♠ river on which Ioannoy check-called for 600,000.
Horgan showed A♣Q♣ and Ioannoy chopped with the A♥Q♠.
Matthew Whitelaw arrived on the outer table with a shorter stack and proceeded to move all-in three times. He then took on Divan Le Roux and made a move by shoving the 8♠5♠5♦ flop out of the blinds. Le Roux called and was ahead.

The 10♠ turn improved Le Roux to a flush and Whitelaw now needed a five or ten to avoid elimination. Instead, the 2♠ river brought another spade and Whitelaw exited in 13th place for ZAR 81,855.
"Why did you do that?" a befuddled Nic Ioannoy asked and Whitelaw replied "I wanted to steal".
Giovanni Zanette raised to 110,000 with the 7♠7♣ in the cutoff. Colin Horgan three-bet to 270,000 on the button with K♥10♦ and Diane Walker then jammed for 1.1 million in the big blind with the A♣Q♣.
Diane Walker raised from the hijack with the A♦6♦ and Giovanni Zanette defended the big blind with the 10♦8♠.
Zanette jammed his pair and gutshot on the Q♦J♥8♦ flop for 275,000 and held thanks to the Q♥2♠ runout.
Nic Ioannoy has been at the centre of the action on the outer table in nearly every hand and Divan Le Roux defended against his button raise. On the J♥10♣9♣ flop, Le Roux checked and Ioannoy bet 115,000. Le Roux check-raised to 315,000 and Ioannoy folded the J♦, claiming he is "worried about the kicker".
Colin Horgan raised to 80,000 with the A♣5♠ and Edgar Antezana called in the hijack with the 9♠9♣. Diane Walker three-bet to 250,000 in the cutoff with A♥10♣ and Horgan folded, Antezana called. The J♠J♣6♥ flop saw Antezana check, Walker bet 375,000 to force out Antezana who said "that's a good bet".
Walker showed her ace-ten to the table.
