Simon Solomon raised to 12,000 and Ahmed Karrim three-bet, Solom four-bet jammed and was snapped off.

Rudolf Fourie was more fortunate when he got it in with Q♥Q♠ for 69,000 against the 4♠4♥ of Matthew Whitelaw. There was no upset on the Q♣10♦8♥7♠A♠ runout as Fourie doubled.
Edgar Antezana raised to 16,000 with the K♥K♣ and then called a three-bet to 42,000 by Saurabh Gulati with the A♦A♣. On the Q♠Q♣7♣ flop, Antezana check-called for 55,000 and the 2♣ turn was checked.
Antezana block bet the 5♦ river for 75,000 and Gulati called to celebrate the large pot.
A massive pot was brewing over on table ten with Diane Walker and Colin Horgan involved, the two biggest stacks in the field so far and both very aggressive.
Walker bet 120,000 into a loaded pot on the K♠8♠3♠J♦9♠ river and Horgan then pushed all-in.
"Will you show me?" Walker said and Horgan just grinned. She eventually folded the K♥K♣ face-up and Horgan returned the favour by showing the A♠ for the nut flush.
On a heads-up flop of A♠K♦Q♠, Brandon Bruintjies bet 30,000 and then called the all-in of Alan Jung rather quickly.

Jung needed a ten or running jacks to double, or a king for a chop. However, the 9♦ turn and 7♠ river brought no help and that spelled the end for Jung before the money.
Dave Nundloll was all-in before the flop with the A♣A♦ and Muzamil Gothey reluctantly called.
The 7♦7♣ of Gothey had some outs until the 10♦9♠6♦9♦ turn but the 3♦ river was not among them for Nundloll to double.
The hero not long ago, Bruno de Carvalho has been eliminated from the tournament before the money against the rampant Diane Walker, who topped the Day 1d leaderboard.
The A♣9♣ of de Carvalho flopped a pair and the nut flush draw on the Q♣J♣9♦5♥4♠ board but Walker's A♦Q♠ came out on top.
BN Lubbe check-called bets by Clive Berman on the 8♦4♠3♦ flop and the 8♣ turn, the latter of which was for 19,000. He checked again the 8♠ river and then folded to a bet to get shown A♦A♥.
Berman had entered the day as the chip leader but has since fallen behind Giovanni Zanette on this table.

Jaryd Jardien out-flopped Johnny Bland when they got it in after the K♠10♦9♥ flop and Bland was at risk with A♠A♦ versus K♥10♥.
The A♣ turn gave Bland an unbeatable set and the A♥ river for quads was the cherry on top.
Divan Le Roux was all-in preflop for 82,000 with A♣A♦ against the A♥K♦ of Ronit Chamani.
On a board of 10♦5♠4♠10♠10♣, the aces held while Adrian Andritz groaned, as he would have hit quads presumably. In the meanwhile, another tow players have been eliminated.
