Edgar Antezana opened to 15,000 in the hijack. Sugen Singh then three-bet big to 55,000 in the cutoff and all players behind folded, including the initial raiser. Two short stacks can be found on the table in Panayiotis Giannakopoulos and Anders Hellstrom.
Lukman A raised to 16,000 and was called by Nic Ioannoy in the cutoff. Henk Wiese then got his shorter stack of around 50,000 in from the big blind and Lukman A reraised to force out Ioannoy, who mucked the Q♣J♠.

The 10♦10♣8♥ flop gave Lukman A additional outs and he then improved with the Q♥ turn. Down to just two outs, Wiese couldn't escape anymore with the blank K♣ river and departed a few spots away from securing a spot on Day 2.
Sugen Singh raised and then folded to the shoves by Fabio Cornelli and Janno Cazemier with the former at risk.

The 6♣5♣4♦ flop changed nothing but Cornelli had running clubs at his disposal. Instead, he was drawing dead on the K♦ turn to make the 8♥ river a formality.
Johan De Graaff raised and earned two callers in Nic Ioannoy as well as NT. As they headed to the 9♣4♥2♥ flop, De Graaff got it in for 81,000 with the Q♠9♠ for the top pair. NT looked him up with A♥6♥ for the nut flush draw but bricked on the J♠ turn and 3♠ river.
Kinesh Pather open-jammed for 43,000 from an early position and was eventually called by Stephen Courtney in the big blind.

The A♣8♥2♠5♥10♠ board kept Pather in contention with a double.
The former feature table brought back six players to the main tournament area and Kinesh Pather was the shortest stack. With the prospect of another flipout for Day 1c to take place, Pather took two seats and won his second seat.
In the meanwhile, Stephen Courtney raised to 10,000 in the hijack and Jedd Kossew three-bet to 23,000 in the cutoff. Courtney called and check-folded the 8♦7♥2♦ flop, Kossew showed the Q♣Q♥ for an overpair.

The final 19 players have been sent on a scheduled 15-minute break, during which the T-500 chips are raced off. Three more levels or down to the final 14 contestants are planned for tonight, whichever comes first.
Johan De Graaff raised to 8,000 and was called by Nic Ioannoy in the small blind. "I just have to decide if I raise or call, no fold here," NT joked, looked at his cards and called from the big blind.
NT declared blind checks by himself and Ioannoy but the latter shook his head, then checked the 9♠7♦3♦ flop regardless. NT checked and De Graaff checked behind. The J♣ turn was checked to De Graaff, who bet 20,000 to win the pot, as Ioannoy mucked the 8♥7♠.
