Singh Gets No Value From a Flush

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

With some 7,000 in. the middle to the 10757 turn, Sugen Singh made it 5,000 to go. His table neighbour quickly folded and Singh flashed the Q8 for a turned flush to win the pot.

The "man with all the rings" as dubbed by the SunBet team has been able to increase his stack early on Day 1a and certainly appears to be a character to follow for the remainder of this tournament.

You can follow the live stream action on a thirty-minute delay in the live stream tab right above the updates here on PokerNews.

Scheepers Ships a Nice Pot

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

In five way action to the AJ4 flop, the action checked all around and the 2 came on the turn. A player in early position bet 1,500 and Gideon Scheepers called in the cutoff, everybody else folded. That led them to the A river on which Scheepers raised a bet of 3,500 to 8,000.

No call followed and Scheepers won the pot, later mentioning in table chat he had a queen-high flush.

Manganas Wins Three-Way Pot

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Russel Wheatley limped in, Jarred Solomon did so from the small blind and Aleko Manganas checked from the big blind. On the KQ9 flop, Wheatley bet 300 for Manganas to call and the latter then check-raised the 9 turn from 300 to 1,000 in order to earn a call from Wheatley.

With the 6 river completing a possible flush, they checked and Manganas won the pot with J9 versus AQ.

With 1,500 in the middle four ways to the 887 flop, Malcolm Rajah bet 1,700 and Eben Lottering called in the cutoff. The 9 fell on the turn and Rajah bet another 1,600. Lottering jammed for another 7,000 on top and Rajah called.

Eben Lottering: J10 All in
Malcolm Rajah: 96

The river was the 8 and Rajah hit an unlikely full house to score the knockout.
