Nic Ioannoy raised to 5,000 in the cutoff and was called by Stephen Courtney on the button, Ahmed Karrim in the small blind as well as Jacobus de Nysschen in the big blind.

They checked to the J♠9♠8♦5♥5♠ river on which Karrim bet 23,000. De Nysschen only called and the other two players folded.

Karrim tabled the Q♦5♦ for trips but de Nysschen had the A♠2♠ for the ace-high flush.

Ahmed Karrim then jammed twice preflop and joked with Nick Sissou "you have taken all my chips".

A reraise to 22,500 was out in front of Roy Bitton and Alvin Pillay then made it 66,000 to go.

"The thing is, you know what hand I have," Bitton joked and was then trying Pillay to show his cards once he folded. Bitton eventually laid it down and Pillay flashed his Q♠Q♦, getting shown A♣J♠ from the other side of the table.

On the tail end of a blind battle to the A♥7♦6♣8♣7♣ river, Nahum Lim moved all-in for slightly more than the pot and Roy Bitton snap-called with the A♦2♠. Lim had the 10♦9♥ for a turned straight and doubled for 46,000.

"You chase an inside straight draw?" Bitton joked and Lim replied back "well, you raised with ace deuce".

Soon after, the field was reduced by one when last entrant NT eventually lost all of his chips.

It has been a wild ride for Ahmed Karrim, who was among the chip leaders several times only to get knocked back by the high-variance late entries. Ultimately, his preflop raise was called by one of his former nemesis's in Nic Ioannoy out of the big blind. The flop came A♦5♦3♣ and Ioannoy checked, Karrim bet 8,000.

The quick shove by Ioannoy followed and Karrim eventually called it off for around 90,000.
