Franco Da Matta raised it up to 135,000 with the A♠7♠ and Edgar Antezana only called out of the big blind holding the J♥J♦. Once they checked the Q♣5♥2♥ flop, Antezana checked the K♠ turn. Da Matta bet only 80,000 and Antezana called. They checked the 4♥ river and the draw heavy conclusion was checked down for Antezana to win the pot.
Jon Persent raised to 125,000 from the cutoff with the A♥5♥ and Muaaz Gani called on the button with his K♠J♠. They checked to the 6♣6♦2♥10♦J♦ river on which Persent check-folded to a small bet of 90,000.
Gani then raised the K♠9♦ and Jayson Zulch came along from the big blind with 10♠7♠. The A♦5♣2♠6♠K♣ board was checked to the end on which Zulch checked once again. Gani bet 175,000 and forced the next fold.
Persent made it 125,000 to go next with the Q♦J♠, Gani called the hijack with the 5♥5♣ and Zulch defended the 5♦4♦ in the small blind. Franco Da Matta came along with 8♥2♥ in the big blind.
The K♠Q♣10♠ flop saw a bet worth 200,000 by Persent take it down.
Naven Naicker raised to 150,000 and TA called to see a flop of 10♠7♦3♣ on which both players checked. Naicker also checked the 4♥ turn and then folded the A♣Q♣ face-up when TA bet 200,000.
One hand after the previous clash on the outer table, the action folded to Pierre Kitching in the small blind. He pushed all-in for around one million in chips and Jedd Kossew glanced at his cards, then snap-called to reveal the K♥K♣ right away.
Kitching sat there stunned and had not shown his cards yet before he slowly tabled the 10♦8♦.
Kossew turned to the rail and didn't want to see the showdown. The A♣10♣6♠ flop gave Kitching some equity, but the 3♦ turn and 5♠ river ended his run in 14th place for ZAR 64,000.
Edgar Antezana raised to 120,000 with the 8♦8♥ and earned two callers in Alexander Rizvi out of the hijack with Q♦Q♣ as well as Jon Persent in the big blind holding K♠J♦.
The K♣9♣7♥ flop was checked to the 3♥ turn on which Persent made it 200,000 to go. Antezana folded and Rizvi called.
Persent bet the 2♦ river for 425,000 and Rizvi paid it off eventually for the Norwegian to pull further ahead.
TA opened to 150,000 on the button and Alvin Pillay reluctantly folded from the big blind.
"If you shove, I call. I have queens," TA said.
One hand later, Michael Cupido raised to 135,000 and Pillay then jammed from the small blind.
Cupido snap-called and declared "sometimes they have kings."

Jaco Mouton limped the A♣10♣ and Jon Persent raised to 200,000 one seat over with the A♥Q♦, which Mouton called. On the Q♣9♠5♣ flop, Mouton check-called a bet of 200,000 and they checked the K♦ on the turn.
Mouton hit top pair with the A♠ river and checked again. Persent bet 450,000 and Mouton paid it off very reluctantly to get shown the bad news.
Michael Cupido opened the action with a raise to 130,000 and Alexandre Blanc three-bet to 300,000 in the cutoff, all players behind folded to Cupido who came along.
On the K♣J♣10♠ flop, Cupido quickly check-called for 200,000 and checked again the J♦ turn. Blanc emptied the clip with a shove for 710,000. Cupido flashed his cards to the French player and folded.
