A very short-stacked Gareth Duncan was all-in with the A♥3♦ and up against Muaaz Gani with the A♠8♦. The K♠J♥7♠9♦2♦ runout made sure that the kicker played.
During the hand was a graphics error to display the wrong cards and the system will be rebooted shortly.
Muaaz Gani opened to 40,000 with the A♣3♣ and then four-bet to 240,000 when Alexander Rizvi three-bet to 100,000 with the J♥J♦.
Rizvi opted to call and they checked the 4♥4♦2♠ flop. On the 6♣ turn, Gani check-called for 150,000 and checked the 6♥ on the river. Rizvi moved all-in and Gani folded.

Jehan Richards was moved tables to balance the field and then took a flip with A♦K♣ against the 5♠5♥ of Alvin Pillay.
On the K♥8♦3♥ flop, Richards took the lead but the J♥ turn and 9♥ river improved Pillay to a flush.
"How many chips do you have now?" another player asked in disbelief.
After an elimination on the feature table and the exit of Kiran Moodley, the field was down to the last 36 players. That brought a pay jump and Jonathan Hyman jammed his short stack, Damon Fine went all-in over the top.

Imran Bhojani called for clubs and two came untiul the J♠6♠2♣8♣ turn, the Q♠ river was a brick to knock out Hyman.
Djordje Stojic bowed out next one table over before Bhojani was all-in and called by Andrew Holland as well as Naven Naicker.
The K♦4♣3♠J♦7♦ river saw Naicker bet 30,000 and Holland folded. Naicker showed A♦10♦ for the nuts and Bhojani mucked the 7♠. His tea was finished and so was his tournament in 34th place.
Kiran Moodley jammed for 60,000 and Alvin Pillay did so for 215,000, both of which were called by Justin Cohen with the covering stack.

"Hold!" Cohen demanded but the Q♣J♠10♦9♥K♥ board gave Pillay miracle broadway to knock out Moodley and double through Cohen.
Imran Bhojani jammed with A♠5♥ into the A♦J♣ of Damon Fine and the A♦J♣. The 7♥6♣4♣ flop was a sweat but the Q♥ turn and K♦ river secured the double for Fine.
Bhojani then trapped a flopped top pair to get it in after the A♠8♣6♥J♦ turn via check-shove for 180,000 and Andrew Holland called after he bet 55,000.

"I need a queen or jack," Holland said but neither came on the A♥ river.
Franco Da Matta three-bet to 135,000 in the hijack and Reagan Benjamin then four-bet jammed for a massive stack to force out the blinds and initial raiser. Da Matta asked for a count and the shove was for 1,405,000 and Da Matta called.
"Ace king?!" Marko Nortje asked and Da Matta nodded.

The huge flip went to Da Matta on the A♥K♣Q♠4♥6♣ board to send Da Matta into the comfortable chip lead.
Marko Nortje took another hit on the outer tables when Dean Hutchison bet the A♦7♦2♠J♣8♠ river for 400,000. Two time bank extensions later, Nortje folded and both stacks were evened out.
Naven Naicker then opened to 40,000 in the cutoff and Alexandre Blanc three-bet to 120,000 in the next seat. It folded back to Naicker who started some table chat with his opponent. "How do you always have it against me" before declaring fold.
The dealer verified if it was fold or call and Naicker added "do you want me to call?"
Blanc flashed his Q♦Q♥ and Naicker flashed the monster hand of ... 4♣2♣.
