Edgar Antezana raised to 600,000 with the 9♥6♥ and then folded when Jon Persent jammed the 7♦7♣ from the small blind.

Persent then opened to the same amount with the A♥4♦ and Antezana defended his K♦9♠ big blind. The 8♣5♣3♥ flop was checked and Antezana checked the 9♦ turn. Persent bet 1,000,000 only for Antezana to check-shove for 3,025,000.

"Count please," the Norwegian said and checked his own stack while that was determined.

Persent eventually called with his gutshot and one over card but couldn't deal the final blow on the Q♥ river.

Jon Persent made it 600,000 to go from the small blind with the K♦Q♣ and Alexandre Blanc came along with Q♥8♦ out of the big blind.

They headed to the 8♣4♣2♣ flop on which Persent bet 600,000, Blanc called. The same action repeated on the 10♥ turn for 1,300,000 and that led them to the 2♦ river.

Persent fired a third barrel for 2,200,000 to send Blanc into the tank. Blanc called at the end of his shot clock and took over the lead at the end of the level before the final four went on the next scheduled 15-minute break.

The raise to 400,000 by Jon Persent from under the gun came with the A♣3♣. Edgar Antezana three-bet the button to 1,000,000 on the button with the J♠J♦ and Naven Naicker gave it some thought before he four-bet jammed for the last 3,825,000 with 8♥8♣.

Persent asked for an exact count on the shove and folded, Antezana gave it some thought while Naicker had a blank stare on the table behind his shades. The fold by Antezana followed and Naicker got away with the weaker holding.
