Numerous hands ended preflop with open raises and the chip stacks barely changed over that period.
Alexandre Blanc then opened to 400,000 with the Q♥J♠ first to act. Edgar Antezana called with the 7♠7♦ and Jon Persent three-bet to 1,200,000 with the A♣3♣ out of the big blind. That forced out Blanc but Antezana stuck around to the 9♠8♦2♦ flop. Persent continued for 1,100,000 to pick up a call and checked his stack carefully on the 4♠ turn before using a time bank extension.
The Norwegian then jammed for 3,750,000 and Antezana was forced to let go.
