Alexandre Blanc opened to 300,000 from under the gun with Q♦J♣ into the big blind of short stack Alexander Rizvi, who defended the Q♣5♣ with fewer than a big blind behind. On the J♥6♠3♥ flop, Rizvi had to fold to be left with a miracle.

He was then all-in for the last 125,000 with K♠8♠ from the small blind against Blanc's A♥Q♠ in the big blind. The J♠8♦8♣K♣4♠ board gave the Brit a double to just shy of three big blinds.

Alexandre Blanc made it 300,000 to go with K♥K♣ and found a single caller in Naven Naicker out of the small blind holding the A♣9♣. The gutshot came with the 10♦7♠6♣ flop but both checked. Naicker also checked the 4♠ turn and Blanc bet 575,000 to pick up a call.

The Q♣ on the river failed to improve Naicker and he checked once more. Blanc bet 1,200,000, sending Naicker into a brief tank. He checked his remaining stack and eventually paid it off with his ace-high to lose a big portion of his stack.

Alexandre Blanc limped the 4♣3♦ in the small blind and Edgar Antezana checked the J♦4♠. They checked the J♣2♥2♠ flop before Blanc bet the 10♣ turn for 400,000, Antezana called.

Blanc didn't give up the 2♦ river and instead fired a bet of 1,500,000 which Antezana snap-called with his nines full of jacks to scoop a nice pot.

Alexander Rizvi made it 250,000 from under the gun holding the K♣Q♠ and Mike Cupido flatted from the small blind with 7♦7♣. On a flop of 6♠4♣3♦, Cupido check-called for 300,000 with his overpair and gutshot straight draw.

The 7♥ turn gave him top set and he checked, Rizvi checked behind. That brought along the Q♣ river and Cupido bet 700,000. Rizvi burned through his remaining time banks and laid down his rivered top pair.

After the completion of the hand, the remaining seven players went on a scheduled 15-minute break.

That led them to the 5♥ turn on which Kossew checked once more. Persent sized up to 550,000 and that got rid of Kossew.
