Cupido quickly folded and Blanc came to the same conclusion.

Franco Da Matta returned to the action with an open raise to 275,000 from the cutoff with the Q♣J♠. Alexandre Blanc flat-called one seat over with K♠Q♠ and the K♥10♠2♥ flop saw Da Matta check-call for 300,000. Da Matta picked up a pair of his own with the Q♦ turn and checked once more.

Blanc bet 550,000 with his top two pair and Da Matta stuck around, but missed to improve on the 8♠ on the river.

Da Matta checked the third street in a row and Blanc declared all-in. Sliding forward his remaining time banks, Da Matta kept staring at the board. With only 1,250,000 behind, Da Matta gave it a lot of thought and used two time banks before paying and walking off the stage without saying a single word.

Despite missing his many outs, Antezana led the 2♣ river for 200,000. Da Matta appeared to be frustrated and reluctantly sent his cards into the muck, one by one.
