Danie "Dan Man" van der Berg pushed all-in for 132,000 and was called from one seat over by Jedd Kossew, while the rest of the table folded.

With around 140,000 in the middle to the J♥10♦6♦ flop, Greg Mokgoatlheng was all-in for 142,000 against the covering Karol Korzeniowski.

Chris Luyt opened to 26,000 and Rayhaan Adam called behind. Michael Cupido three-bet and Luyt reluctantly called, Adam folded.
Luyt then jammed the 5♠4♥3♥ flop and Cupido called with the covering stack.

Alexander Rizvi checked behind the flop of the 10♥8♠2♥5♦9♣ board and then reluctantly called a bet of 125,000 by Michael Cupido on the river. Cupido tabled the J♠10♦ for the top pair which he had beat with the A♦A♥.
"I knew he had aces," Chris Luyt said and added "he checked behind the flop".
Four ways to the J♦6♦4♣ flop, the action checked to Gabriel Demuru and he bet 25,000. Alexander Rizvi on the button raised to 70,000 and Stephen Courtney called in the big blind. Tim Akinnusi and Demuru folded for the duo to then check down the 7♠ turn.
Rizvi checked behind the 10♠ river and Courtney won the pot with the K♠J♥ for the top pair.
Darren Kramer raised from under the gun and then got it in after the Q♦J♦8♦ flop against Jon Persent in the big blind.

Persent had smashed the flop to leave Kramer in rough shape and the K♦ turn ended Kramer's run even before the 4♣ river completed the board.
Dean Hutchison raised to 20,000 and Marko Nortje called in the next seat, Nico Wiechers also came along to the Q♠10♠6♥ flop. Hutchison checked, Nortje bet 35,000 and two calls followed. They checked the K♥ on the turn and Hutchison checked the 4♥ on the river once more.
Nortje bet 120,000 and got rid of both opponents.
Following an under-the-gun raise by Damon Fine, Jedd Kossew stuck around in the big blind and check-raised the 6♦5♣2♦ flop from 20,000 to 66,000. Fine called and they checked the K♥ on the turn. Kossew also checked the 5♠ river and Fine's bet of 60,000 won the pot without resistance.
Without any major action prior, Nico Wiechers bet the 4♠4♣3♣6♠2♥ river for 40,000 out of the big blind. Alexandre Blanc called from under the gun and mucked to the 6♦5♠ of Wiechers.
The first level after the break has been rather quiet so far and no player busted with 53 hopefuls still in contention.
