Nico Wiechers won a pot off KM when his 7♥4♥ made two pair on a paired board.

Jonathan Kalil then raised to 60,000 and Harold Brooks three-bet to 130,000. It folded back to Kalil, who folded the K♣Q♦ and was shown pocket queens by Brooks.

Brooks then raised to 60,000 and Wiechers called from the big blind. There was no betting action to the 9♦7♦5♦J♣K♥ river on which Wiechers check-called for 45,000.

Brooks showed his A♠6♣ for ace-high and Wiechers earned the next pot with J♥10♠ for a turned pair of jacks.

Nico Wiechers jammed the button for 210,000 and KM reluctantly folded the A♥4♠ in the big blind.

In the next hand, Wiechers jammed for 285,000 in the cutoff and Jonathan Kalil called in the next seat while both blinds folded.

KM made it 65,000 to go on the button and Vishal Ghoorbin then pushed all-in for 315,000 in the big blind. After some consideration, KM called and they tabled the cards.

The 9♦4♥4♣ flop and 5♣ turn changed nothing for the time being. One more card was to come and that was the Q♣ river, which gave KM the superior two pair. Ghoorbin's short stack grind came to an end in 13th place for ZAR52,400 ($2,882).

Jonathan Kalil raised to 60,000 and Harold Brooks called in the small blind, then folded when Kalil continued.

Soon after, Kalil raised to claim the blinds before an open raise to 60,000 was called by Max Deveson in the small blind. Rudolf Fourie jammed for 460,000 in the big blind and it folded back to Deveson. The Brit asked for a count and eventually folded.

Fourie told Brooks to announce what cards he had.

"Aces or kings?" Brooks replied but Fourie showed A♦K♥ for the two blockers instead.

Harold Brooks scooped several smaller pots in a row, including an open raise to 80,000 and big blind defend by Nico Wiechers. On the J♦7♠4♠ flop, Wiechers checked and folded when Brooks continued for 120,000.

KM then opened to 80,000 and Max Deveson called. Wiechers pushed all-in and both opponents folded. KM tossed his cards to Wiechers, who glanced at it and nodded. The dealer motioned to him to expose for everyone to see and the 9♠9♥ came to light.

Wiechers raised the next button to 80,000 but folded when Jonathan Kalil three-bet to 200,000 in the small blind.

KM defended his big blind against a raise by Max Deveson and check-called the K♣9♠8♣ flop. After the 5♣ turn, KM checked again and Deveson upped his sizing to 155,000 for KM to call.

The Q♥ on the river saw both players check and KM shrugged, said "ace-high" and reluctantly showed his A♣J♠, Deveson rolled over his K♦8♦ for flopped two pair, kings and eights, to win the next decent pot.
