Rudolf Fourie raised to 30,000 with the K♠K♣ and Nic Ioannoy called with the 10♥8♥ in the small blind. Zoran Kljajic then pushed all-in for 474,000 in the big blind with the 10♣9♦ and Fourie called, Ioannoy folded.
The Q♦4♥2♠6♥6♠ board was no threat at all as Fourie went from very short stack "back into the game" as per Rex Hsu.
Only 29 players remain after the first four hours of play, which has cut the initial field right into half. The second 10-minute break is underway and after the next two hour session, the dinner break is scheduled.

Alan Jung pushed for only 53,000 on the button and Giovanni Zanette called from the big blind with A♦4♣. Jung vaulted out of his chair on the A♥3♦2♠ flop as his K♥Q♥ was in rough shape.
The Q♦ turn and K♣ river brought a miracle escape.
Chrissy Luyt ended up all-in and at risk for 193,000 preflop and had the best of it with A♦A♥ against the 9♦9♣ of Giovanni Zanette.
The celebrations started on the A♠K♦8♥ flop, as the 8♦ turn and 7♥ river were a formality.
Gavin Sardini three-bet out of the big blind and Jamie Vilela called on the button before they got it all-in after the Q♦7♠4♦ flop with Vilela at risk.

The 10♠ turn gave Sardini some more outs with the gutshot but the 6♣ river kept Vilela in contention.
Soon after on the same table, Stephen Courtney called a three-bet by Keenan Pienaar in the small blind and they headed to the A♣10♣8♣ flop. Pienaar continued for 25,000 and Courtney clicked it to 50,000, which Pienaar called.
After the 9♣ turn, both players checked and Pienaar called Courtney's bet of 75,000 on the 2♥ river. Courtney showed A♥J♣ but Pienaar had that pipped with the A♦Q♣.
Jaco Mouton had been the chip leader of the turbo heat 1d but never gained any traction throughout the entire Day 2. He ultimately dropped to around 15 big blinds and got those in preflop with the J♣9♦. Braam Van Huyssteen happily called with the A♥Q♥ and locked up the elimination on the turn of the A♦Q♠6♦4♣6♠ board.
