Katz Eliminated by Sulsky

Level 9 : 6,000/12,000, 1,000 ante

Cary Katz raised all in for 27,000 from under the gun and found action from Andrew Lichtenberger (early position) and Ben Sulsky (hijack) at 90,000 each.

The flop fell {2-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{4-Clubs} and Lichtenberger check-folded to a bet from Sulsky.

Katz: {10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
Sulsky: {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades}

The {K-Clubs} turn locked it up for Sulsky, rendering the {9-Hearts} river moot.

Seiver Increases His Chip Lead

Level 9 : 6,000/12,000, 1,000 ante

Isaac Baron opened from under the gun to 28,000 and Connor Drinan reraised to 65,000 from the next seat. Play folded over to Scott Seiver in the small blind, and he studied the action. After a minute passed, Seiver tossed in his time extension plaque to get an extra minute. After a little bit, he put in a reraise of his own and made it 185,000 to go. Action quickly folded back to Drinan. He thought for a few moments, then folded, and Seiver won the pot.

Sands Wins Biggest Pot of the Day

Level 9 : 6,000/12,000, 1,000 ante

Igor Kurganov raised to 30,000 from early position, Ben Lamb called from the hijack, Jason Koon called from the button, and David Sands three-bet to 118,000 from the small blind. Kurganov four-bet to 255,000, prompting quick folds from Lamb and Koon.

Sands tanked for more than two minutes, surrendering two of his time bank plaques, before he reraised all in for 700,000. Kurganov called and tabled the {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}. He trailed Sands' {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades}, though.

The board ran out {2-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}, which was no help to Kurganov, and it gave Sands the sizable double up.
