Seiver Collects With Aces

Level 6 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Scott Seiver bet 70,000 into a pot that looked to be around 100,000 on the river. He was on the button and the board read {2-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{3-Spades}{5-Diamonds}. Jason Koon was thinking things over in middle position, and he let his timer surpass 30 seconds, meaning he had to pay up in the form of a time extension. At about the 40 second mark, he called, and Seiver quickly flipped over {a-Spades}{a-Clubs} and collected the pot.

Shak Takes One Down

Level 6 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Fedor Holz opened to 6,000 from the hi-jack and Isaac Haxton called in the cutoff, as did Dan Shak from the big blind.

The flop fell {Q-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{5-Clubs} and both Holz and Haxton checked to Shak who bet out 15,000.

Holz and Haxton folded, and Shak scooped the pot.

Mandavia Flushed to the Rail

Level 6 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Ankush Mandavia
Ankush Mandavia

With roughly 35,000 in the middle and the board reading {9-Spades}{8-Hearts}{A-Spades}{2-Hearts}, Ankush Mandavia moved all in for his last 37,000 and Stefan Schillhabel called.

Mandavia: {A-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}
Schillhabel: {Q-Spades}{J-Spades}

With Mandavia ahead, he would need to fade a spade to stay alive, but unfortunately for him, the {3-Spades} on the river would end his tournament.

Soverel Doubles Through Negreanu

Level 6 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Sam Soverel got his last 84,000 in preflop with {a-Spades}{k-Spades} and was racing against the {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} of Daniel Negreanu. The {6-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{8-Spades} flop brought Soverel a flush draw. The {7-Hearts} was a brick, but the {7-Spades} made Soverel a winning flush.

"Never thought I was winning that at any point," Negreanu said as he sent over the required amount.

Double for Negreanu with Top Set

Level 6 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Pratyush Buddiga opened to 6,000 from under the gun only to have Daniel Negreanu three-bet next to act to 16,000. Tom Marchese cold-called in the cutoff as the blinds and Buddiga folded.

The flop of {K-Clubs}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts} saw Negreanu continue for 12,000 with Marchese making the call as the {9-Clubs} on the turn saw both players check.

The river landed the {10-Spades} and Negreanu dropped in a bet of 28,000.

Marchese reached fora stack of chips and announced he was all in. Negreanu quickly called for his last 116,000 and tabled his {K-Spades}{K-Diamonds} for top set while Marchese showed his {J-Spades}{J-Diamonds} and dropped to 175,000 in chips.

Kaverman Eclipses One Million Chips at Kurganov's Expense

Level 6 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Igor Kurganov
Igor Kurganov

With roughly 70,000 in the middle and the board reading {A-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{10-Diamonds}, Byron Kaverman bet out 40,000 from the small blind.

The action was on Igor Kurganov from under the gun, and he raised to 120,000.

Kaverman pushed out a stack of chips amounting to a three-bet of 355,000 to effectively put Kurganov all in.

Kurganov would proceed to use two time extension buttons before eventually calling all-in for his 250,000 total.

Kaverman tabled {J-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for a rivered straight as Kurganov tabled his {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}.

With Kurganov heading to the rail, Kaverman becomes the first player to exceed the one million chip mark.

Negreanu's Flush Good

Level 6 : 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Jason Les bet what looked like 13,000 on a {2-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} flop after both Daniel Negreanu (big blind) and Tony Guoga (middle position) checked. Only Negreanu called. The Canadian star then check-called 28,000 on the {2-Hearts} turn, and both checked the {a-Diamonds} river. Negreanu showed {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} for a flush. Les made a sound of disgust and mucked.

"I thought I might have the best hand," Negreanu said. "By the sound of that, I guess not."
