Jacks for Shak

Level 14 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

From under the gun, Andrew Lichtenberger opened to 25,000 only to have Dan Shak three-bet to 75,000 next to speak.

Lichtenberger called, and then check-folded to a 100,000-chip bet from Shak on the {10-Spades}{8-Hearts}{6-Spades} flop.

Shak tabled his {J-Hearts}{J-Spades} and said he's had this hand five or six times today.

Bonomo Soaring

Level 14 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

On a final board of {6-Hearts}{10-Spades}{3-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{K-Spades} with roughly 200,000 in the pot, Justin Bonomo checked over to Stefan Schillhabel.

Schillhabel tossed in a bet of 100,000 and Bonomo used a time extension button before check-raising to 375,000.

Schillhabel paused for a few moments and then called as Bonomo tabled his {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for a straight.

Schillhabel folded and dropped to 320,000 while Bonomo soared up to 2,440,000 in chips.

Sontheimer Eliminated by Vogelsang

Level 14 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Steffen Sontheimer opened in the cutoff, and Christoph Vogelsang made it 85,000 in the big blind. Sontheimer shoved all in for about 400,000, and Vogelsang snap-called.

Sontheimer: {5-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}
Vogelsang: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}

"Let's make a straight," Sontheimer said cheerfully.

Dan Shak let him know he would need to, since Shak mucked a five. The flop came {10-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}, and Sontheimer observed that wasn't a good one. The turn and river were bricks, and Sontheimer got up to leave. After he was gone, Andrew Lichtenberger said he'd folded the other five.

Bonomo Trips Into the Chip Lead

Level 13 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

On a flop of {7-Clubs}{A-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}, Justin Bonomo checked from the cutoff over to Rainer Kempe who bet 38,000.

Bonomo called as the dealer delivered the {J-Spades} on the turn and both players checked.

The river landed the {2-Spades} and Bonomo announced a bet of 310,000.

Kempe called, but then mucked his cards once Bonomo revealed his {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for flopped trips.

With this pot, Bonomo is now sitting with 1.9 million; good for the chip lead
