Tom Marchese
Tom Marchese

Tom Marchese made a hell of a run without chips, but he finally got himself in a rough spot when his {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs} ran into the {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds} of Stefan Schillhabel. The {8-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{8-Clubs} flop gave Marchese hope for a chop. The turn {8-Diamonds} brought some more chop outs, but the {2-Hearts} was a brick to finish him off.

The End for Tony G.

Level 13 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Tony Guoga
Tony Guoga

Byron Kaverman raised to 20,000. Tony Guoga shoved for just about 50,000 on the button, and Kaverman quickly called.

Guoga: {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Kaverman: {a-Clubs}{2-Clubs}

"The reverse Ralph Perry!" Jason Mercier said, referring to Guoga's infamous verbal beatdown of Ralph Perry when his own ace-deuce held against Perry's king-jack.

Ace-deuce would prevail again as the board ran out {8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{9-Spades}, leaving Guoga shaking his head.

"I can't win," he said as he walked away from the table.

The action passed back to Negreanu and he called before checking the {3-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds} flop.

Bonomo bet 40,000 and Negreanu called as the {8-Spades} landed on the turn. Negreanu checked and Bonomo bet 130,000 which prompted a response from Negreanu of, "you caught a lucky flop man!"

Negreanu folded and then stated that he held pocket kings with the king of diamonds.
