Flush Over Flush

Level 19 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Pratyush Buddiga opened for 60,000 in middle position with {q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}. Stefan Schillhabel called on the button with {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}, and Leon Tsoukernik came along from the small blind with {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}.

The {2-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{6-Hearts} flop brought something for everyone, and Tsoukernik came out betting with 80,000. He got two quick calls. Tsoukernik bet just 60,000 more on the {6-Spades}, and he got two more calls. On the {5-Hearts} river, everyone checked to Schillhabel, who bet 190,000. Buddiga called and won with his superior flush.

Jake Schindler raises to 50,000 from early position and both Stefan Schillhabel and Leon Tsoukernik call in the blinds.

The flop lands {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{5-Clubs} and the action is checked to Schindler who bets out 75,000. Schillhabel calls, as does Tsoukernik before the {7-Hearts} lands on the turn.

All three players check and the river falls the {Q-Diamonds}.

Schillhabel checks, Tsoukernik checks, and finally Schindler checks behind.

Schillhabel tables his {6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}, but it would be Tsoukernik's {9-Clubs}{8-Spades} that would see him scoop the pot.

Vogelsang Gets Two Streets

Level 19 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Jake Schindler opened for 60,000 in middle position with {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}. Christoph Vogelsang wanted to see a flop on the button with {q-Clubs}{j-Hearts}, and Stefan Schillhabel felt the same in the big blind with {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}. Vogelsang bet 70,000 on the {q-Hearts}{6-Spades}{5-Spades} flop after the first two players checked. Only Schillhabel called. Both checked the {4-Hearts}, bringing a {4-Diamonds} river. Vogelsang bet 200,000 this time, and Schillhabel used a time extension and then called just before he would have had to put in another.

Vogelsang dragged the pot after showing down his queens.
