flop with about 40,000 in the middle. Igor Kurganov bet 19,000 from the button and Antonio Esfandiari made it 53,000 from under the gun. That pushed the third player out, and Kurganov put in a call.

turn, things slowed down, at least in terms of tempo. Esfandiari used a time extension and counted down his stack before betting 68,500. Kurganov again called, using his own extension in the process. On the 
river, Esfandiari shoved for about 115,000 and Kurganov quickly called.
