Smith Picks Off Haxton's Bluff

Level 2 : 500/1,000, 1,500 ante

From the button, Dan Smith raised to 3,000 and both Isaac Haxton and Phil Ivey called in the blinds.

The {8-Spades}{6-Spades}{4-Spades} flop was checked round to see the {9-Hearts} land on the turn.

Haxton bet out 3,000, and Ivey folded, while Smith called.

The river landed the {6-Clubs}, and Haxton checked to Smith who bet 10,000. Haxton called, and after Smith tabled his {K-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} for king-high, Haxton revealed his {A-Spades}{8-Diamonds} to take down the pot.

From the PokerGO live stream.

On the turn with the board reading {2-Hearts}{5-Spades}{J-Hearts}{10-Spades}, Andreas Eiler bet 19,000 only to have Fedor Holz raise to 40,000. Eiler shoved for 101,000, and Holz instantly called.

Fedor Holz: {J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}
Andreas Eiler: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

The river of the {6-Diamonds} wouldn't be the one-outer Eiler was looking for, and he would be eliminated from the 2018 Super High Roller Bowl as Holz collected a pot to send him to 817,000 in chips.

Katz Tries to Trap Aces

Level 2 : 500/1,000, 1,500 ante

Andrew Lichtenberger opened cutoff to 3,000, earning calls from button Cary Katz and big blind Markus Durnegger. Action checked to Katz on the {4-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{7-Spades} and he placed in 6,000. Durnegger folded but Lichtenberger matched the bet.

The {10-Spades} turn saw Lichtenberger check-call another 18,000 but Katz skipped the third barrel on the {5-Diamonds} river, showing the {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts} for free. Lichtenberger mucked in defeat.

"It's been a while," smiled Igor Kurganov on the other side of the table. Katz looked towards Mikita Badziakouski and Durnegger, saying: "I thought you'd three-bet."

They didn't fall into the trap, but Katz added some chips nonetheless as he's now maneuvering around 350,000.

Brandon Adams moved all-in for his 274,500, putting the online high stakes cash game legend to the test. Tollerene was visibly pained, having counted his remaining belongings to 75,500.
