Walsh Sets Up Two for the Double KO

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante
Cory Walsh
Cory Walsh

Three-ways to the turn with the board reading 65210, there was already nearly 30,000 in the middle with Albert Lucenti having committed the last of his chips on the flop. However, there was still a sidepot between Cory Walsh in the big blind and Lewis Joles from middle position.

Walsh checked to Joles who jammed for 27,600, sending Walsh into the tank. After some time, he elected to call as the covering stack, putting both Joles and Lucenti at risk.

Albert Lucenti: 98 All in
Lewis Joles: JJ All in
Cory Walsh: 22

Walsh made the right call with his bottom set, and he was in good shape against the overpair of Joles in the sidepot. For the main pot, Lucenti had a gutshot straight flush draw.

However, the Q would brick off on the river, leaving Walsh's set of deuces best as he eliminated two players and scooped a massive pot.

Antoniou Bombs the River

Level 3 : Blinds 100/300, 300 ante

No less than five players saw a flop of K32 with around 6,500 in the middle preflop. It checked to Roman Bujdei in middle position who bet 2,000 and only Georgios Antoniou called from the small blind.

The 10 turn would then check through to the 4 river which saw Antoniou toss out a massive overbet of 20,000. Bujdei had his doubts, but he opted to let it go after some deliberation and Antoniou took down the pot without showdown.

"Big blind special!" Miner proclaimed as she turned over 72 for a rivered flush to take down another early pot.
