Kings Good for Fantone
Level 6
: Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Benjamin Fantone opened to 3,000 from under the gun, and received a call from a player in middle position, along with Danilo Colomba in the cutoff, and the player in the big blind.
On the Q♥J♣4♣ flop, action was checked to Colomba, who fired out a bet of 9,000. Only Fantone called.
The 5♣ turn was checked through by both players.
On the 3♣ river, Fantone led out with a bet of 10,000 and Colomba called. Fantone showed K♥K♦ for a pair of kings, while Colomba had A♠Q♦ for a pair of queens, neither player holding a club for the one-card flush. Fantone raked in a nice pot.
