Carta Finds Tough River Call
Level 30
: Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Traian Stanciu opened from under the gun to 550,000 with 10♦10♣. Priamo Carta defended his big blind with A♥2♣.
On the A♠4♠8♥ flop, Carta check-called a bet of 375,000 from Stanciu.
The J♠ turn was checked by both players. On the 5♠ river, Carta check-called versus a bet of 2,000,000 from Stanciu after burning through two timebanks, receiving the good news that his opponent did not hold a spade.
Carta now takes the chip lead.
