Runcan Talks Dantec Into Call

Romain Le Dantec opened to 1,500 under the gun and was faced with a three-bet to 5,000 by Paul Runcan on the button.

The J310 flop and K turn were checked through by both players.

On the K river, Le Dantec checked and Runcan fired out a bet of 10,200. After about 90 seconds of thought from Le Dantec, who was looking slightly perplexed by the action, Runcan said "There are no bluffs here, flush, paired board, no bluffs".

The speech seemed to provoke La Dantec to call, and he flicked in his chips. Runcan showed AK for trip kings and Le Dantec nodded and mucked.

Helland called, but Kardas then announced he was all-in for around 53,800. Polizzotto thought for around a minute before tossing his hand into the muck, but Helland, who slightly covered Kardas, went deep into the tank. The clock was ultimately called and with five seconds left, Helland folded, showing the 6.
