Runcan Talks Dantec Into Call

Romain Le Dantec opened to 1,500 under the gun and was faced with a three-bet to 5,000 by Paul Runcan on the button.

The J♥3♦10♥ flop and K♠ turn were checked through by both players.

On the K♥ river, Le Dantec checked and Runcan fired out a bet of 10,200. After about 90 seconds of thought from Le Dantec, who was looking slightly perplexed by the action, Runcan said "There are no bluffs here, flush, paired board, no bluffs".

The speech seemed to provoke La Dantec to call, and he flicked in his chips. Runcan showed A♣K♦ for trip kings and Le Dantec nodded and mucked.

The 8♣ rolled off on the turn, and Pires check-folded versus a bet of 8,700 from Bevilacqua.

On the 10♣ turn, action was checked to Sint, who slid out a bet of 1,100. Only Serbu called.

The J♦ river completed the board, and Serbu check-called a bet of 2,000 from Sint. Sint showed 8♦4♦ for the eight-high flush, but Serbu had 9♦7♦ for the nine-high flush, sending him the pot.

On the 8♣ turn, Helland fired out a bet of 3,700 and Kardas called. Polizzotto thought the spot through for some time, before reaching for chips and producing a check-raise to 11,900.

Helland called, but Kardas then announced he was all-in for around 53,800. Polizzotto thought for around a minute before tossing his hand into the muck, but Helland, who slightly covered Kardas, went deep into the tank. The clock was ultimately called and with five seconds left, Helland folded, showing the 6♦.
