On the K♦9♥10♣ flop, Serbu led out with a bet of 17,000. After some thought, Yau called.
The Q♠ rolled off on the turn, bringing one-card straight possibilities, and Serbu checked to his opponent. After thinking the spot through for a bit, Yau slid out a bet of 21,000, and Serbu quickly folded.
Yau showed A♣9♦ for a pair of nines, and Serbu nodded and tapped the table.

In the very next hand, David Kozma moved all in for around 36,000, and Catelani rejammed, forcing out all other opponents.

Catelani was ahead in a race, but had a sweat after the K♣2♠6♠ flop brought his opponent a flush draw.
However the 7♦ turn and 4♦ river were bricks and Kozma headed for the exit, with Catelani catching some heat before the dinner break.

Zabrodotskyi led out with a bet of 21,000, only to be faced with a jam from Dhouimer for 64,000, sending the Ukrainian deep into thought.
Zabrodotskyi peered at the board, counted his chips, and glanced at his opponent repeatedly. After a while, he said to Dhouimer, "I have the nine", which would mean he had the queen-high straight, albeit not the nuts.
Eventually another player called the clock, and Zabrodotskyi let it get down to five seconds before announcing he was folding, flashing the 9♠ as he sent his cards to the muck.
Dhouimer raked in the pot and didn't give his opponent any indication as to whether his fold was a good one.

Carta was ahead with his top pair tens, but had some outs to fade. Much to his delight, the 7♦ turn and 5♣ river were bricks and Carta obtained a timely double-up.
