Moments after Cecile Ticherfatine arrived at the table, Jean-Gilbert Levy opened to 900 from under the gun and was called by Julien Guibert in middle position. Sabare Atmani on the button then three-bet to 3,200 and was called by Sebastian Tusal in the small blind and both Levy and Guibert.
The dealer fanned a flop of Q♥2♣3♥. Tusal and Levy checked, and Guibert led out for 10,000. Atmani called, but Tusal quickly moved all-in for 29,000. Levy was happy to fold, then Tusal shoved for 46,400. Atmani went into the tank and called.
Sebastian Tusal: A♣Q♣
Julien Guibert: 3♦3♠
Sabare Atmani: A♠Q♦
Tusal and Atmani both had top pair, but Guibert flopped a set. He even hit a full house with the 2♥2♦ runout scooped the pot, while Tusal was eliminated.
Around 20,000 was in the middle on a board of 2♦A♥6♠K♦, and Pascal Frezza checked to his opponent, Cedric Top.
Top fired out a bet of 9,500, only for Frezza to check-jam for 39,900. After quite a bit of thought, Top folded, flashing the A♣.
Around 11,000 was in the middle on a board of Q♠6♦7♥K♣ and action was checked to Eric Lamaze, who fired out a bet of 5,000. Both Rony Halimi and Cid Ghillain called.
On the 10♥ river, Ghillain led out with a bet of 16,000. Halimi folded and after some thought, Lamaze called.
Ghillain showed 9♦8♣ for the rivered ten-high straight, and Lamaze mucked his hand. Ghillain slammed the table in celebration as he raked in the pot.
Laurent Cousin opened to 800 from early position, only to be faced with a three-bet to 3,000 by Saul Berdugo in the cutoff. Action folded back to Cousin, who called.
The 10♠7♠Q♥ flop and 4♣ turn were checked through by both players.
On the 10♥ river, Cousin led out with a bet of 3,600, only to be met with a raise to 12,000 from Berdugo. After some thought, Cousin folded.
Mickael Faurot opened to 1,500 from the button, and both Sofiane Drissi in the small blind and Jean-Paul Charbit in the big blind called.
All three of them checked all the way through a board of 10♠5♠K♦4♥J♦. Drissi was supposed to reveal his cards first, but he sent his cards into the muck. Charbit had A♣9♠, but it wasn't enough to win as Faurot had 2♦2♥.
On the next hand, Charbit limped so Stéphanie Hague only had to check her option.
Both of them checked the J♦4♦6♣ flop. But on the 4♥ turn, Charbit bet 1,800. Hague called, but checked back and mucked on the 10♠ river after Charbit showed K♣6♥ for two pair.
A player opened to 1,000 from early position and was called by Jean-Paul Charbit in the next seat. Ioannis Giannakopoulos was in the cutoff, and reached for chips to produce a three-bet to 3,500. Only Charbit called.
On the A♠3♣J♦ flop, Charbit check-called a bet of 2,600 from Giannakopoulos.
The 9♦ rolled off on the turn, and Charbit check-folded versus a bet of 6,200 from Giannakopoulos.
Cards were on their backs and stacks were in the middle, with Hamed Sedini all-in for 27,000 and at risk versus Alexander Wahl.
Hamed Sedini: K♥K♦
Alexander Wahl: A♣K♠
Sedini's pocket kings were in great shape for a double-up, and it was confirmed by the 8♦J♦2♥J♠4♣ runout.
