Cheikh Catches Godiche Bluffing

Lucien Cohen opened to 700 from middle position and he was called by Rene Godiche on the button and by both players in the blinds.

On a flop of 938, Ouassini Cheikh in the big blind led out for 1,200. Cohen and Godiche called.

Cheikh continued for 3,500 on the 3 turn, but this time, only Godiche called. But on the 8 river, Cheikh slowed down and checked.

Godiche took this opportunity to bet 7,200 with KJ for missed draws. Cheikh called with K9 for two pair and scooped the pot.

Pauvret led out with a bet of 1,100 on the 8 turn, and only Piana called.

On the 9 river, Pauvret fired out a bet of 1,500 and Piana quickly folded.

On a flop of 9Q3 with already 26,700 in the pot, a player in middle position bet 6,500.

Danut Chisu in the hijack then decided to raise to 31,500, almost his entire stack. His opponent went deep into the tank and eventually found a fold, giving the pot to Chisu.

On the K54 flop Sgoranno checked, Grasselli slid out a bet of 1,000, the button folded, and Sgoranno called.

The 5 turn was checked through by both players.

The 9 river completed the board and Sgoranno check-called a bet of 1,000 from Graselli. Graselli showed A5 for trip fives and Sgoranno mucked.
