Day 1d Started
The last of four flights of the €1,200 WSOP-C Paris Main Event is set to begin, here at Stade Jean-Bouin in Paris.
After 141 players qualified through Day 1a, 21 on Day 1b, and more on Day 1c (which is still underway), Day 1d will give a new opportunity to players who haven't qualified yet.
In total, more than 800 entrants have been recorded so far, so Day 1d will help reach 1,000 entries. However, those who fail today will still have a chance to make the money, as late registration will close at the end of Level 12, two levels after the start of Day 2.
Like Day 1b yesterday, 1d is a turbo flight, with levels lasting 30 minutes instead of 60, and players receiving 50,000 in starting chips. Ten levels will be played tonight, with the end of the day scheduled around 2 a.m.
Stay tuned as the PokerNews live reporting team will follow all the action until a champion is crowned here in Paris!

Erich Tedeschi opened to 600 from under the gun, then Badr Douch three-bet to 1,700 from the cutoff. On the button, Kostya Zaks went into the tank and decided to four-bet to 3,900. Douch was the only one to call.
The dealer fanned a flop of J♥6♥5♠ and Zaks continued for 3,000. However Douch didn't like this flop, so he folded.

Five players saw a flop of 5♦Q♦9♣, and everyone checked to see the 10♥ turn.
The small blind bet 700 and was called by the big blind, but Sutharsan Ariyanayagam under the gun raised to 3,000. Laurent Tual in the hijack and Matthieu Martin in the cutoff were the only ones to call.
The K♠ completed the board, and Ariyanayagam bet 3,000 again with K♥J♣ for a straight. Tual called with J♠10♠, and Martin called as well with J♦8♦, so they all split the pot.

Jean-Jacques Zeitoun opened to 700 from early position and both Adrien Sanz on the button and the small blind called.
Zeitoun continued for 900 on the K♥6♥6♠ flop. Sanz called, then checked back the 10♦ turn.
On the A♥ river, Zeitoun checked again and Sanz bet 3,000. Zeitoun called, but threw his cards into the muck when Sanz revealed Q♥10♥ for a flush.
