Barka went into the tank. "It's the worst card river" he said to the dealer, adding had he probably had to call. He eventually did so, but ran into Armougon's full house with 9♦9♥. Barka revealed the A♠.
The board read 3♥K♠9♥7♠ and Sergio Pinto Teixeira check-called a bet of 125,000 from his opponent, Jerome Zerbib, in a button versus big blind battle.
On the K♥ river, Teixeira led out with a bet of 215,000. Zerbib thought it through for a bit but eventually made the call.
Teixeira tapped the table, signaling a bluff, but Zerbib wanted to see his cards. Teixeira turned over Q♣J♦ for queen-high, while Zerbib had K♣Q♦ for trip kings.
