Ten-High is Good Enough

Level 16 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

After Gregory Teboul bluffed him river in a 160,000-chip pot, Damien Luis in the small blind with 65,000 moved all-in and was called by Jeremy Scemama in the big blind.

Damien Luis: 92 All in
Jeremy Scemama: 104

Scemama's ten-high was good enough to win the hand on Q585A, so Luis was eliminated.

Flashback: David Gradic Returns Home with WSOP Circuit Ring

Level 15 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
David Gradic
David Gradic

Last spring, David Gradic had originally planned to enjoy a relaxing holiday on the French Riviera and recharge before an upcoming online poker series. But a stop at Pasino Grand in Aix-en-Provence for the €1,000 World Series of Poker Circuit Main Event, organized by Texapoker, turned into a successful detour as the Slovenian player emerged victorious from a field of 1,433 entries.

The WSOP Circuit gold ring and the top prize of €160,000 brought a huge smile to Gradic’s face, but his joy only grew when he learned he also secured a seat for the $10,000 WSOP Main Event this summer in Las Vegas, along with an entry to the WSOP Tournament of Champions next month in Los Angeles.

Gradic put on a dominant performance at the final table, eliminating six of his seven opponents.

Sfez Flops a Straight to Crack Aces

Level 15 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Eric Sfez
Eric Sfez

Moments after winning a big pot from Julien Sitbon, Eric Sfez bet 30,000 on a flop of 678 from the hijack and faced a check-raise all-in for 186,000 from Alexandre Landon in middle position. “All-in?” Sfez asked as he put his glasses on. After a quick look at the board, he made the call.

Alexandre Landon: AA All in
Eric Sfez: 109

Sfez flopped a straight to crack Landon’s aces, and the 3J runout secured him the pot. “What a rush!” Cédric Chevalme joked. “What rush?” Sfez replied, clearly irritated. “Don’t be angry, as long as you’re eliminating players, I’m happy,” Chevalme added.
