Before the Main Event restarted, the €2,500 WSOP Circuit High Roller ring ceremony took place.

Out of a field of 133 entries, Alexandre Reard had a chance to defend his title but ran into his friend Anthony Kazgandjian and finished in second place for €46,300.

Kazgandjian, however, claimed his first WSOP Circuit ring along with €71,000 and a $5,000 package for the next WSOP Paradise.

Belus Runs Into a Full House

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Patrick Belus in middle position called an open to 800 by a player in early position before Yann Pineau in the cutoff three-bet to 3,000. Belus was the only one to call.

Belus led out for 2,500 on the K93 and was called then bet 7,500 on the 8 turn. Pineau called again.

The 9 landed on the river and Belus bet 7,500 again. Pineau raised to 40,000 and Belus went deep into the tank. He eventually made the call oof his last 30,000 with KJ but ran into Pineau's 88 and was eliminated.

Rey and Fleury Split

Level 2 : 200/300, 300 ante

After an open by the player under the gun called by Nicolas Dumont in early positon, Timothée Rey to his left three-bet to 2,800. Laurence Fleury in the cutoff called as well as Dumont but the initial raiser folded.

The dealer fanned a flop of 267 and Rey bet 2,800. Fleury called but Dumont folded.

Both players checked the 10 and the 9 river and Rey revealed AJ. Fleury had the same hand with AJ so they split the pot.

Rémi Derossi raised to 800 from early position. Rachid Bruchot in the cutoff called but Marc Bougaret in the small blind three-bet to 4,000. Derossi folded but Bruchot called.

Bougaret continued for 3,000 on the AQ3 flop and was called, then fired a second barrel to 4,000 on the 3 turn. Bruchot looked at his cards but folded.

Fosso Takes Form Bermon

Level 1 : 100/200, 200 ante

Five-way on a flop of 2KA, a player in middle position bet 1,200 and was called by the two players to his left but Sylvia Fosso in the small blind check-raised to 5,000. Alexandre Bermon in the big blind called and the other players folded.

Sylvia Fosso bet 15,000 more on the J turn, but it was too much for Bermon who folded.
