Le Turns a Straight and Gets Some Value
Level 7
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Q Le raised to 2,000 from early position, before Jay Yates in the cutoff three-bet to 6,000. Rey Roca on the button made the call, and after the blinds folded Le called as well.
The flop came 8♥4♣5♣ and Le checked to Yates who bet out 10,000. Roca folded, and Le made the call.
Both players checked after the 6♦ on the tur, and the river brought the 3♥. Le then fired out 10,000, and Yates made the call. Le tabled 7♦7♣ for a straight, which was good to take the pot as Yates mucked his hand.
