Roca Gets There to Double Up
Level 14
: Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Action was picked up on the flop with the board showing 5♠2♥J♥ and roughly 35,000 in the pot.
Elvyn Bello bet out 30,000, and Rey Roca raised all in for 54,000, which was snap called by Bello.
Rey Roca: 4♠3♠
Elvyn Bello: A♣J♣
Bello was ahead with his top pair, but would have to fade the open ended straight draw of Roca. The 6♠ on the turn brought the straight right in for Roca, and the 6♦ hit on the river for good measure, to take the pot and double up with his straight.
