Shariati Makes Trips to Crack Brownlee's Knigs
Level 2
: Blinds 200/300, 0 ante
William Brownlee raised from the hijack, before Mike Shariati three-bet in the cutoff. After it folded back to Brownlee, he four-bet to 6,000, which Shariati called.
After the Q♦8♠3♥ flop Shariati called a bet of 11,000 from Brownlee.
Both players checked after the 3♥ on the turn, which brought the Q♣. Brownlee bet out 5,000, before Shariati raised to 25,000. After thinking it over Brownlee made the call and was shown. A♠Q♠ for trip queens, and Brownlee showed K♥K♦ as he tossed his cards in the muck.
A few hands later Brownlee had pocket kings again, but was able to double up against his opponents pocket queens.
