Tyler Boyer
Level 9 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Vince Salvatore raised to 4,000 from middle position, and was called by a player in the cutoff, and the big blind.

After the A♥5♦10♦ action was checked to the cutoff, who bet 6,000. Both the big blind and Salvatore made the call.

All three players checked to the river after the 2♦ on the turn, which brought the J♥. The big blind checked, and Salvatore went all in for 24,500, and the cutoff quickly made the call for less. The big blind folded and Salvatore tabled A♦K♦ for the nut flush, and the cutoff showed A♣Q♦ before exiting the tournament area.

Level 9 : Blinds 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Action folded to a player in the cutoff, who raised, before Jin Park on the button three-bet. Once it folded back to the original raiser, he four-bet to put Park all in for 34,000, which he snap called.

Cutoff: A♠Q♥ All in
Jin Park: A♥A♦

The cutoff ran into the aces of Park, and once the board ran out 8♠10♥7♥4♦5♦ the pockets were still best, to give Park a double up.

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Daniel Song raised from middle position to 2,300, was call by both Brent Hart in the hijack, and the small blind Michael Casella.

After the A♠10♣4♣ flop Casella checked to Song who bet out 3,300. Hart made the call, and Casella folded.

Aaric West opened the action with a raise to 2,400 from the hijack, before a player in the cutoff three-bet to 7,500. Bradley Harris on the button called, and once it folded back to West he called as well.

All three players checked after the A♣6♠9♣ flop, which brought the 2♥ on the turn. West then bet out 6,000, which was called by the cutoff, and Harris folded.

Both players checked to showdown after the K♣ hit the river. West tabled K♦J♦ for a pair of kings to take the pot, as the cutoff tossed 10♠10♦ in the muck.

Morozumi Hits the Jack He Didn't Want

Tyler Boyer

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Action was picked up with Naoya Morozumi all in, and Andy Garcia calling to put him at risk.

Naoya Morozumi: A♠K♠ All in
Andy Garcia: J♠J♥

It was a flip for Morozumi's tournament life, and he would need to improve against the pocket jacks of Garcia. The 10♠6♥Q♥ flop gave Morozumi additonal outs for Broadway, but the 6♣ turn took those outs away. Which was unfortunate because the river was the J♣ to give Morozumi the Broadway straight, but improved Garcia to a full house, jacks full of sixes to take the pot and eliminate Morozumi.
