Ari Shin found out he was in rough shape when cards went on their backs preflop. Shin began the action with an open shove from early position.

Elvyn Bello called from the big blind to put Shin at risk.

Bello held the advantage of pair over pair on the A♦Q♥9♣ flop, but Shin spiked his two-outer on the turn when the 10♣ rolled over.

The 3♦ sealed the hand in Shin's favor awarding him the double up.

Mitchell Hynam opened to 10,000 from under the gun and found a call from Elvyn Bello on his left.

Hynam led out for 13,000 on the 8♦7♥K♥ flop, with Bello sliding in the call.

The 2♠ turn saw Hynam fire again 36,000, enough to take down the pot as Bello folded.

Anthony Hu began the hand with a raise from early position to 11,000. This led to a call from Tianyi Ma for 11,000 from the small blind. Frank Brannan raised the price when he popped it to 55,000 causing a quick fold from Hu.

Ma deliberated for some time before sticking in his whole stack which was snap called by Brannan.

The 3♠8♦6♥8♣K♠ did not improve Ma sending him out of the tournament.

Amir Mirrasouli got his money in ahead with a dwindling stack preflop against Faraz Jaka when he raised all in from late position to 47,000.

Faraz Jaka called from the small blind creating a showdown preflop.

Although Mirrasouli started out ahead, that quickly changed on the 6♠8♣7♠ flop as Jaka took the lead with top pair and a flush draw.
